Creative team CLAMP's xxxHOLiC manga recently came to the big screen in a live-action film adaptation, and that inspiration got flipped around right back on the creators. In response to a Twitter fan request, CLAMP whipped up an illustration of one of the movie's original characters, Akagumo, played in the film by Hayato Isomura.

You can see the results above. Akagumo is one of antagonist Jorōgumo's subordinates, and director Mika Ninagawa said it was "very scary to bring out a new character."

The xxxHOLiC film was released in Japan on April 29. Ko Shibasaki (Mika in 47 Ronin) and Ryunosuke Kamiki (Taki Tachibana in Your Name.) play the film's two main characters, Yuko Ichihara and Kimihiro Watanuki, respectively.
