The results of the NARUTOP99 poll—which called upon fans around the world to cast votes for their favorite characters from Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto series—were recently unveiled, and now Bandai Namco is getting in on the fun. The Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections game shared a special collaboration trailer with the poll, taking the opportunity to showcase some of the top-ranked characters.

The Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections game was announced in February. Featuring the largest roster in a Naruto game to date, along with playable characters spanning the saga—including Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki—Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections boasts 60FPS gameplay on current-gen consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series.

The CyberConnect2-developed game is due out this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

 

Masashi Kishimoto's original Naruto manga ran in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1999 to 2014 and inspired the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime series. Its sequel, BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS, is currently streaming on Crunchyroll alongside the original two anime.
